We believe every student deserves access to a high-quality education that meets their unique needs. We are looking for a dedicated Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to join our team and help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IEP teams to create individualized education plans addressing students’ communication and academic needs
• Adapt curriculum materials for accessibility, using visual and hands‑on learning strategies
• Implement effective teaching methods, including sign language, visual aids, and technology
• Facilitate communication using ASL or other sign systems to ensure student understanding
• Support language and literacy development through interactive, tailored activities
• Develop and implement strategies to support students in crisis situations, ensuring safety and well‑being

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field
• Active state‑level licensure and/or certification OR ability to obtain
• Special Education Certification
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience working in schools or with children is required
