Pay: $17–$20 per hour
About the RoleThe Learning Experience – Newark, DE is seeking a Lead-Qualified Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role supports multiple classrooms (Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool) and is ideal for a flexible, skilled educator who enjoys variety and making an impact across the entire school.
Our program focuses on early academics, social-emotional growth, and hands-on learning in a joyful, structured environment.
What You’ll Do- Step into different classrooms (Infant, Toddler, Preschool) as needed
- Lead and support classrooms in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate way
- Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum across age groups
- Support early literacy, math, social skills, creativity, and problem-solving
- Maintain strong communication with families and team members
- Ensure compliance with Delaware licensing and center policies
- Support daily routines including transitions, meals, rest time, and activities
- Partner with leadership and teaching teams to maintain high-quality programming
- TECE 1 & TECE 2 required (Delaware Early Care & Education)
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA or ECE coursework strongly preferred
- At least 6 months of classroom experience (1+ year preferred)
- Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
