Pennoni is hiring a Senior Water Resources Engineer to support transportation projects by performing a wide range of water resources related tasks. The role involves hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater and erosion/sediment control design, flood studies, bridge hydraulics and scour analysis, and plan and report preparation.

• Support H&H, ES&C, drainage and SWM tasks associated with bridge replacement and highway improvement projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region with a focus in Delaware and surrounding states.
• Interact with clients regarding technical challenges and opportunities to perform project management if desired.
• Develop plans, technical reports, and specifications.
• Offer diversified projects and assignments with different clients.

• PE license
• BSCE
• 5-12 years of experience
• Experience in hydrologic/hydraulic (H&H) modeling of natural systems and stormwater collection systems, floodplain management and modeling, stream restoration design, culvert and bridge hydraulics, scour analysis, erosion and sediment control design, drainage design, stormwater management design, plan review, and report preparation.
• Proficiency in Microstation v8i, ArcGIS, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Storm and Sewer
  
  CAD, WinTR-55, WinTR-20, Hydro
  
  CAD, SMS/SRH2D.
• Strong technical writing for reports, specifications, studies.
• Experience with DelDOT, MDSHA, VDOT, DCDOT, PennDOT projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and written skills.

• Master’s degree
• Leadership qualities to lead project related tasks and mentor entry-level engineers.
• Motivated to work on multiple concurrent assignments while serving multiple roles within a team environment.
• Leadership positions in professional societies preferred and encouraged.
