K  is looking for a Senior Technical Professional Leader, Package Engineer – Chemicals, Biofuels & Discrete Manufacturing to lead large international chemical/biofuels projects as Package Engineering Leader.

• Lead large international chemical/biofuels projects as Package Engineering Leader.
• Early project planning and coordination to develop project engineering execution plans for large complex process and manufacturing packages.
• Develop and manage the preparation, review, and checking of mechanical specification packages in accordance with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Manage and successfully influence the entire procurement life cycle while working closely with all disciplines.
• Effectively manage interdisciplinary design coordination to ensure a seamless design unfolds during construction and commissioning.
• Manage development of complex multi-discipline construction packages, including diagrams, drawings, equipment schedules, details, and scopes of work.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors in a professional manner.
• Track project scope and schedule and notify the project manager of deviations from the original design, budget, or schedule.

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the EPC industry or chemical/biofuels operating companies.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.) preferred.
• Broad experience with chemical technologies and/or biofuels.
• Experience with large complex packaged equipment systems such as thermal oxidizers, cooling towers, process units, plastic handling packages, extruders, and material handling packages for biomass and waste.
• Working knowledge of other engineering disciplines while providing proactive leadership on interdisciplinary design coordination.
• Ability to travel as needed to survey client sites.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with supervisory experience.
