Duties, Responsibilities & Other

KCI is looking for full‑time Engineers‑in‑Training to join their Rotational Engineering Program. This program offers recent engineering graduates a unique chance to gain exposure to various functional roles and assignments, helping them develop a broad understanding of the company and grow into well‑rounded leaders. The program lasts one year and includes three or four rotations across different disciplines and offices, if applicable.

This Role Candidates Will

• Gain knowledge of KCI services and the engineering consulting industry.
• Identify a career path that aligns with their interests.
• Acquire hands‑on experience in both field and office environments.
• Learn to design and prepare construction drawings for civil, transportation, mechanical, water/wastewater, and utility projects.
• Get an overview of opportunities within KCI, including civil, road and bridge design, industrial, commercial, utilities, and public sector work.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of talented leaders.
• Build relationships across the company.
• Align their skills and interests with various engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• General knowledge of Microstation, AutoCAD, or Revit.
• Good communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required. Appropriate professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 0‑2 year(s) experience.
• Pre‑employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based on circumstances.
