About the Role In Bohler’s Wilmington office, you’ll join a supportive team that values learning, precision, and collaboration. You’ll contribute to real projects that shape the Wilmington area, build your technical skills, gain insight into how engineering and drafting connect, and lay the groundwork for a rewarding career in land development.
What You’ll Do- Learn AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, applying Bohler’s CAD standards to produce plan sets.
- Modify conceptual plans through full construction documents under engineering guidance.
- Create and revise detail sheets, secondary plans, and project layouts.
- Review your own drawings for completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve drafting or design issues.
- Assist with document organization, plan formatting, and digital file management.

- Hands‑on training with AutoCAD and Civil 3D on active land development projects.
- Exposure to site layout, grading, utility, and drainage design fundamentals.

- Clear pathways toward CAD Designer and Quality Manager roles.
- High school diploma or technical certificate in computer‑aided design (or equivalent experience).
- 0–1+ years of AutoCAD experience;
Civil 3D exposure preferred. - Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Clear communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Desire to grow within a collaborative, high‑performing team.
