Graduate Civil Engineers to join our Transportation Engineering team on a full-time, direct basis. We have needs in multiple disciplines within transportation engineering.

Position responsibilities span highway, bridge, and traffic engineering tasks within a multidisciplinary firm. The role involves contributing to design projects, applying standard engineering principles, and producing engineering plans, documents, and reports.

• Participate in the development of engineering design projects, working in a team to produce plans, documents, and reports.
• Review and apply standard engineering design principles.
• Use 3-D modelling tools for transportation infrastructure projects with Micro Station / InRoads or AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
• Develop transportation infrastructure plans (highway design, hydrology and drainage calculations, SWM / E&SC design, utility layouts, MOT plans, and geometry).
• Support projects for a variety of clients including state agencies, counties, and local municipalities.
• Contribute to bridge design and inspection activities as part of multi-disciplinary projects when needed.
• Assist with traffic engineering tasks such as traffic impact analyses, safety evaluations, signal design, signing and pavement marking plans, MOT/ construction phasing, TMPs, and lighting plans.

• Basic requirement:
  Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Preferred qualifications:
  
  E.I.T. or professional registration is a plus; knowledge of civil engineering principles such as geometry, structural analysis, hydraulics, and geotechnical concepts.
• Experience with engineering software such as Micro Station and AutoCAD; exposure to modeling tools like Open Roads is a plus.
• Experience with highway/roadway design, drainage design, stormwater management, and erosion control is a plus; CCR training is a plus.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and GIS tools is a plus; experience with traffic signal design software (e.g., SYNCHRO) is a plus.
