Job Description
We are seeking a mid-level Project Manager to join our team in Milton, DE/Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Phase I and Phase II remediation projects and will be instrumental in overseeing environmental engineering projects.
Responsibilities- Manage and direct site evaluations under Delaware HSCA, Brownsfields programs, and/or EPA Region III from pre-remedial assessments.
- Strategically plan projects using the data quality objectives approach and develop focused planning documents.
- Guide the implementation and oversight of fieldwork, including media sampling, installation of tooling methods, and coordinate laboratory method selection to support fully developed soil and groundwater evaluations.
- Provide data evaluations and statistics to support site-specific risk assessments.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of geologic/hydro-logic resource evaluations.
- Perform geologic and hydro logic reviews.
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or geology.
- HAZWOPER trained.
- Experience with Phase I and Phase II remediation projects.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field such as Geology.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certifications preferred.
- Experience with environmental science, brownfield, Superfund, EPA, environmental compliance, hydrogeology.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 – $58.00/hr.
