$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, with pharmacy duties in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions.
• Recommends items for sale and trade‑ups, registers purchases, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintains store cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and record‑keeping.
• Assists with pharmacy operations such as filling prescriptions, counting, pouring drugs, verifying accuracy, checking for interactions, scheduling workflow, and reporting errors.
• Handles telephone calls that do not require pharmacist attention, including physician calls.
• Processes manual claims for third‑party program prescription services.
• Supports inventory management and records for pharmaceuticals and regulated products.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws for regulated products (alcohol, tobacco).
• Manages photo area customer service, including passport photos, posters, and machine services.
• Manages web pick‑up responsibilities and order fulfillment.
• Assists with store maintenance, appearance, and special assignments.

• Earns and maintains PTCB certification through designated training programs.
• Attends training, completes PPLs, and acquires continuing education credits.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Preferred: six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Preferred: prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Preferred: strong math skills for accurate medication filling.
• Preferred: good computer skills.
• Preferred: knowledge of store inventory control.
• Preferred: PTCB certification.
