Trading Lifecycle Associate
Join J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank as part of the Market and Investor Services business, a group of leading securities and derivatives sales, trading, research, and operations teams dedicated to providing clients with a full suite of services to meet their specific needs.
As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst (Option Clearance), you will support securities trading for high‑profile clients and various internal teams, ensuring efficient operation of this key line of business. With a focus on control and risk aversion, you will monitor, analyze, and process transactions using proprietary systems and vendor applications. Your responsibilities will entail accurate processing of securities transactions, meeting deadlines across domestic and international markets, and gaining invaluable experience with a global footprint of investment banking products.
Job Responsibilities- Support trade processing platforms through the monitoring and resolution of complex issues.
- Interact daily with clients, internal stakeholders, counter parties, traders, custodian banks, and senior management.
- Identify trade discrepancies and mitigate risks related to the trade life cycle.
- Take on challenging projects to promote process streamlining.
- Master the complexities of many equity and fixed‑income products and develop a solid understanding of our business model and infrastructure.
- Review existing controls and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement through automation.
- Develop and implement operational‑risk analytics to deliver thoughtful analysis and measure the overall health of the CIB Control Environment.

- Analytical and able to recommend creative solutions to complex and ambiguous issues.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and products.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Technical/analytical skills.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint; VBA and SQL knowledge is a plus.
