Plasma Center Paramedic - EMT-P - Sign-On Bonus Eligible

Join Bio Life Plasma Services in the role of Plasma Center Paramedic (EMT‑P). The position offers a $2,500 Sign‑On Bonus, tuition reimbursement, paid training, and benefits starting day one.

You will work under the guidance of the Plasma Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) and the Center Physician to support daily plasma center operations. Key responsibilities include determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. You will also support vaccination programs, manage employee incidents, and serve as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, and physical examination.
• Perform blood testing, review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE), and evaluate donor reactions.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, coordinate donor transport to emergency facilities, and consult the Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents, determine further evaluation, and refer to occupational health/ER as required.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator for investigations related to pandemic threats within the local community.

• High school diploma or recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• License or certification as an EMT‑Paramedic in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State‑required IV therapy certification.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Hourly wage: USD $25.00 – $34.38.
