Christiana Care is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our expanding Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex (Medical) as a Nocturnist.
Responsibilities in the unit include admitting and managing multiple critically ill patients in collaboration with intensivists, fellows, and residents. The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable working in a high acuity, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. It is preferred that candidate have at least 1 year of critical care experience, but new graduates will be considered. Formal individualized onboarding and orientation will be provided.
Hours will be 7p-7am with flexible scheduling and a generous stipend that will get paid out biweekly.

- Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and have NCCPA Certification
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required
- Preferred minimum of 1-year critical care experience, will consider new graduates
- License or license eligible for the State of Delaware
- Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license for state of Delaware
- Federal DEA
- ACLS certification
Annual Compensation Range $ - $ This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
