CAT Scan Technologist | FT-Flex Nights | Newark Campus

Pay Range: $38.22/hr – $61.16/hr

Sign‑on bonus: $7,500 available for eligible candidates.

Full‑time flex (72 hours over two weeks) CT technologist for the night shift with weekend and holiday requirement.

• Perform all phases of CT scan testing on in‑patients and out‑patients in accordance with department procedures and under radiologist direction.
• Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
• Complete clerical and scheduling duties as needed.

• Demonstrate complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT scanner units.
• Complete all technical assigned imaging and non‑imaging procedures within scheduled times.
• Verify insurance pre‑authorization as defined by departmental protocols prior to scanning patient.
• Assist in training students and new staff in procedure, quality control, and radiation safety.
• Administer all contrast media under physician supervision and assess patients for adverse reactions.
• Intiate and compute GFR using i‑STAT testing in accordance with departmental policies.
• Provide appropriate care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including knowledge of growth and development.
• Perform work safely, adhering to departmental safety rules and practices.

• Completion of ARRT registry in CT Scan required.
• Licensed by the State of Delaware on Radiation Protection.
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Completion of the CT registry exam is a job requirement; non‑certified technologists have a two‑year window to pass.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
