Paramedic - Hospital at Home - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Christiana Care is seeking experienced and innovative Paramedics to fill the position of Mobile Integrated Health Community Paramedic. This position will work within the Christiana Care Center for Virtual Health, Hospital at Home program. Check out this video all about it!

The Community Paramedic is an integral part of the Christiana Care care team. The paramedic provides in-home patient assessments, clinical and social screenings, clinical interventions, patient education, and participates in telehealth visits from the patient's home while connecting with the physician or virtual command center via Telehealth.

Mobile Integrated Healthcare is the provision of healthcare using patient-centered, mobile resources in the out-of-hospital environment. At Christiana Care, we offer Hospital at Home, which provides hospital-level care in the patient's home. Hospital at Home is designed to enhance a patient's experience by providing comprehensive, safe and efficient in-home care as an alternative to hospitalization.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications required
  • National Paramedic Licensure required upon hire. Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland to be obtained and maintained as needed. Paramedic must be willing to obtain licensure in additional states as program needs arise.
  • Applicant must acquire community paramedic certification within 24 months of employment.
  • EVO-C Certification and maintain a driving record in compliance with Christiana Care policy.

Hours:

This is a Day/Evening position for 72 hours per pay. Shifts are 12-hour shifts. We offer self scheduling! Rotating weekend and holidays.

Sign On Bonus:
Qualified external candidates may be eligible for a sign on bonus.

Hourly Pay Range: $27.52 - $41.31. This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
