Addiction Psychiatrist Job Description

Christiana Care is seeking a Board Certified Addiction Psychiatrist to join our Project Recovery outpatient program. This is a full‑time clinical position providing expert psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary team across both Wilmington and Newark campuses in Delaware. The Project Recovery program delivers evidence‑based, person‑centered treatment for individuals with substance use disorders for all substances.

• Collaborative team of psychiatry, therapists, social workers, program specialists, and community health workers
• Comprehensive outpatient services including individual, group, family therapy, and IOP
• Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) for all substance use disorders
• Crisis intervention, resource navigation, and care coordination with internal and external providers
• Strong partnership and consultative support for primary care providers engaged in MAT
• Faculty of our psychiatry residency program, opportunity to train residents and students within the practice
