Lead Java Springboot Developer
Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Springboot Developer – the primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day‑to‑day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems, build applications, interface between applications, and understand data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should research technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions, contribute to technology‑specific best practices and standards, and help achieve success criteria from design through deployment.
This includes reliability, cost‑effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability. The candidate will also provide expertise on significant application components, programming languages, databases, operating systems, and guide/mentor the team during build and test phases.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
- Located within commuting distance of Newark, DE or willing to relocate (may require travel to project locations).
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship (Infosys does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role).
- At least 4 years of information technology experience.
- Experience in Core Java.
- Experience in Spring/Spring‑Boot.
- Experience in Web services.
- At least 4 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate.
- Experience with Web services, REST services, JSP and JavaScript.
- Experience with an enterprise web server, preferably Web Sphere or JBoss.
- Experience in software development life cycle.
- Experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Willingness to work in application/production support.
- Experience in banking domain.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse, stakeholder‑rich environment.

The job involves extended periods of sitting and working at a computer. The candidate should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face‑to‑face. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
