Job Description
The Fraud Technology team is looking for a mid-level Business Analyst. Requirements include 5-8 years of technical experience (preferably in the financial industry) with at least 4 years using agile methodology. The Analyst will learn and speak to technical components and systems to drive project delivery, capture and support business and/or system requirements, perform impact analysis, and refine requirements into actionable specifications.
The role involves coordinating releases across multiple development teams, ensuring traceability from requirements to implementation, testing, production releases, and post‑production validation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging and influencing teams across multiple organizations.
- 5+ years of experience in a technology delivery team as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager.
- Required experience delivering systems/applications in an Agile environment, including PI planning and retrospectives.
- Working knowledge of COBOL 370, EZTrieve Plus, JCL/PROCS, FILE MANAGER, IBM utilities (SYNCSORT, SUPERC, COMPAREX, IEBGENER), IMS DC/DB, VSAM/DB2, NDM, CA7 Scheduler, ISPW.
- Confident and creative problem‑solver who drives interaction with resources and works independently to research and resolve issues.
- Self‑starter who works independently, willing to learn, and not reluctant to ask questions of business or technology partners.
- Hands‑on experience delivering technical solutions, coordinating end‑to‑end project deliveries from requirements gathering through testing.
- Requirements gathering into Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epics and stories, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases and scenarios.
- Demonstrable experience providing subject‑matter expertise in technical (and some business) domains to support scope and requirement decisions.
- Experience working with agile development teams consisting of developers, scrum masters, analysts, product owners, and testers.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, WIKI, ALM for requirements and SDLC, knowledge sharing, documentation of requirements, and issue tracking.
- Strong communicator with great communication skills.
- Financial Services / Banking industry experience is a plus.
- Fraud Detection, Prevention, Servicing, and/or claims experience is a plus.
- Experience with Bank of America change management procedures and project tracking tools.
