Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

Bloom Energy is seeking a Buyer to support purchasing and material planning activities for manufacturing operations. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

• Manage daily purchasing activities for raw materials to support production schedules.
• Review and validate MRP requirements and place purchase orders accordingly.
• Analyze demand, supply, and inventory levels to identify shortages and supply risks.
• Expedite supplier deliveries and proactively manage open orders.
• Partner with Planning, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure material availability.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of buyer or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, MRP systems, and supply planning.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience reading and interpreting manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Knowledge of production planning processes.
• Knowledge of inventory control and material management.
• APICS/CPIM certification.
