Chemical Support Specialist III

Overview/Summary

The Chemical Support Specialist will perform tasks associated with the process of Chemical Management responsibilities. This may require working on multiple tasks during a working shift. We are seeking candidates who have a high attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Training will be provided and opportunities for advancement exist.

Duties &

Responsibilities include:

• Perform all receiving functions related to any chemical that is delivered to location
• Company provided chemical software administration and training.
• Identify and enter incoming chemicals into the company's chemical tracking system and attach barcode.
• Electronic disposal of chemicals in the chemical tracking system as chemicals are removed from the site.
• Maintain the accuracy of the chemical inventory by scanning all containers in each location throughout the year. Reconciliation report sent to company owners and Company EHS contact after location is scanned.
• Monitor allowable quantities and control zone limits as well as other customer-imposed limits with materials of interest
• Verify receipts to ensure damage free products are received, discrepancies are properly documented, and accurate records are maintained.

• Candidates must be safety oriented and always adhere to all basic safety standards
• Must have a minimum of HS Diploma or GED
• Strong Computer Skills, Chemical Software Preferred
• Must have a high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written work instructions are Required
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up-to 55 pounds, repeatedly at times
• Candidate must successfully complete background, physical, & drug screenings for consideration
