Join A & H Metals, Inc. as a Precision TIG Sheet Metal Fabricator Picture your day in our 23,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Newark, DE facility: the clock hits 7:00 a.m., your station is set with TIG and MIG gear, and a fresh set of blueprints lands on your bench. You’re fitting, tacking, and laying down clean, consistent beads on stainless steel and aluminum sheet.

By mid-morning, you’re switching from TIG finesse to MIG efficiency for a subassembly, then finishing with precise grinding to achieve a crisp, high-quality surface. After lunch, you’re onto a custom piece—maybe a section of ornamental railing or a fabricated component for a commercial client—troubleshooting as needed and collaborating with teammates. No two days look quite the same, and your craftsmanship is visible in every finished part that leaves the shop.

What You’ll DoExecute TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum sheet metal.

Fit, tack, and weld fabricated components through to completion.

Grind and finish welds to exacting quality standards.

What You Bring Hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding.

Strong TIG proficiency with stainless steel and aluminum.

MIG welding experience (required).Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts.

High attention to detail and a commitment to top-tier workmanship.

Analytical problem-solving skills using logic and reasoning.

High School Diploma or GED.Valid driver’s license (required).Proficiencies Troubleshooting Skills Blueprint Reading Tools & Technologies MIG WelderTIG Welder Laser Welder Compensation & Schedule Competitive pay: $24–$30 per hour, based on skill and experience.

Full-time hours:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.Overtime opportunities available.
