Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in classroom, simulation, and preceptor-led clinical training within a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Develop clinical competency, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice skills.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, mentorship, and professional development activities.
- Support neonatal and postpartum care in innovative family-centered units.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Less than 12 months of RN experience.
- Hold or obtain Delaware or Compact State RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong critical thinking, curiosity, and commitment to neonatal critical care.
- Complete educational modules, simulation exercises, and clinical experiences.
- Participate in ongoing residency sessions and professional growth activities.
- Obtain licensure and pass NCLEX prior to program start.
- Commit to a two-year employment agreement post-program, with at least 15 months on the original unit.
- Complete assessments including clinical references and audio interviews.
- Application includes submitting a cover letter, resume, transcript, and assessments.
- Pay rate is $39.38/hr plus applicable differentials.
- Applicants are encouraged to start licensure processes immediately.
- Program emphasizes professional growth, clinical excellence, and mentorship in neonatal critical care.
