Tralee Park is seeking First Line Supervisor for Inspection. The Inspection Area Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, preventing defects from reaching the customer, and helping the organization become their partner of choice. This leadership position is responsible for developing and leading a high‑performing, quality‑focused team that consistently meets safety, compliance, and operational performance goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in quality systems, root cause analysis, and data management, and serves as a key partner to the Quality organization in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The role will report to the Area Manager and be responsible for direct supervision, employee safety, morale, product quality, productivity, teaching, learning and mentorship of the assigned work team.

• Leads and coordinates inspection and production activities to meet performance goals while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Serves as a key liaison with the Quality and Technical organizations, supporting audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilizes data analytics and quality metrics to monitor performance, identify trends, drive improvements and corrective actions.
• Leads and facilitates Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFAs), ensuring effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Communicates area performance, quality outcomes, and business priorities clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• Participates in and leads EHS and Quality investigations, ensuring timely resolution, documentation, and follow‑up.
• Coaches, develops and provides performance feedback to team members to build capabilities, align on expectations and improve team effectiveness.
• Hires, retains and develops talent to meet current and future capabilities; promotes a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.
• Partners with leaders to stay informed of the business strategy and needs.
• Monitors and makes adjustments to controllable costs for shift (i.e. overtime, operating supplies).

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical/Quality‑related fields or equivalent; a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing.
• Leadership and/or supervisory skills and capabilities.
• Experience and knowledge of ISO
  9001.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Process and personal safety.
