We’re building our brand and are looking for employees to join the Bertucci’s family! There’s a fire inside every Bertucci’s. The 936 bricks that make up each of our brick ovens are the cornerstone of our kitchen and the foundation of our authentic flavor. We want to know what inspires the fire inside you. Responsible for the preparation of appetizers, sandwiches, calzones, pizza, grilled, and pasta dishes according to Bertucci’s specifications.

• Knowledgeable in all behind‑the‑line areas so that scheduling is more flexible.
• Food rotation, set‑up, and break‑down; stocking wood; presentation of products; cleaning utensils and general work area.
• Prepare food accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the temperature of ovens, coolers, and freezers is accurate.
• Inspect stock levels and review prep sheets with the manager to establish a daily prep list.
• Store, unpack, and retrieve food items in the appropriate area of storage.
• Monitor and report malfunctioning of equipment by arranging items appropriately in working order.
• Prepare food products according to safety policies as designated; demonstrate correct use of food service equipment and utensils and wipe up spills on counter and floor as necessary to prevent falls.
• Maintain a sanitary work area as defined by State Health Department standards by cleaning food service equipment and utensils throughout food preparation.
• Wipe the immediate work area as necessary after food preparation.
