Border Cafe in Saugus is looking for a qualified Host to join our growing team to meet the demands of our fast past, fully operational, full service restaurant. Border Cafe is a staple of the restaurant scene and has been recognized for multiple awards and recognition for quality in food and service. We are continuing to grow daily, weekly, and monthly after getting the doors open to our loyal customers.

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Greet customers and sit guests with menus.
• Answer phone calls.
• Take waitlist.
• Check bathroom.
• Know sections/table numbers.
• Sit in rotation.
• Communicate with all hosts and managers.
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.

• Experience as a Restaurant host.
• Critical thinker and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player.
• Good time‑management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Active listening.
• Excellent physical condition.
• Customer‑centric.
• High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus.

Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time

Pay: $18 – $23.00 per hour

• 8‑hour shift

• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Newark, DE – Must be able to commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
