Locations:
Newark, DE.
- Cashiers provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service by processing Checkout and/or Return transactions, and by monitoring and maintaining the Self-Checkout area.
- Proactively seek product knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities.
- Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Support the Head Cashier by expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues and assist in the supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates by participating in the training of new Cashiers and using available tools to coach and develop others.
- Preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of Cashier experience.
- 1+ years of Cashier experience is preferred for advancement to Head Cashier.
