Equine Feed Sales Representative

• Evaluate existing feeding programs and recommend nutritional solutions to animal owners, primarily horse owners
• Conduct up to 25 farm visits per week to promote and sell Purina products and programs
• Organize and lead educational events for local clubs and organizations to enhance brand visibility and drive sales
• Build and maintain relationships with producers and industry stakeholders to grow market share
• Provide accurate feeding and management recommendations based on equine husbandry and nutritional guidelines

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired
• Previous sales experience highly desired
• Basic knowledge of nutritional and feeding recommendations for equine
• Competency in using MS Office and willingness to learn ration balancing software
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

• Proven sales and industry experience
• Understanding of current management practices and market trends in the equine sector
• Strong background and experience with cattle
• Excellent public speaking skills
• Ability to network effectively within the industry
