Security Site Supervisor

Overview

Security Supervisor at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Pay range $25.00/hr - $25.00/hr full‑time, Mid‑Senior level.

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel at client sites.
• Ensure all post orders, rounds, and reports are followed and completed.
• Coach, discipline, and provide performance appraisals to subordinates.
• Train new Security Officers and review job assignments with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll submission and personnel information to the company.
• Maintain adequate coverage of all posts and positions in coordination with company management.
• Prep, file, and submit required reports.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and outline tasks with subordinates.
• Meet with client representatives to assure all security requirements are met.
• Conduct supervisory duties such as interviewing, orienting, training, directing work, coaching, evaluating performance, rewarding, disciplining, and making hiring/termination recommendations.
• May perform Security Officer duties in accordance with post orders and company policy.

• Minimum 2 years security experience.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to work 1st and 2nd shifts.

High School Diploma or GED and 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions. Minimum 2 years retail experience preferred.

• Hold and continue to meet requirements for applicable security licenses.
• Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Understand a variety of security and safety devices and controls.
• Learn quickly and follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Track and maintain schedule assignments.
