Position

Summary

We’re looking for a hands‑on leader to take charge of projects from start to finish. As a Sprinkler Superintendent, you’ll be the driving force behind installations—keeping schedules on track, budgets in line, and clients impressed.

In This Role, You’ll
  • Lead field crews and direct daily work through project completion
  • Ensure top‑quality installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Step in to perform installations and service when needed to keep projects moving
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to share updates and maintain seamless communication
  • Deliver on project objectives while exceeding customer expectations
Core Responsibilities
  • Management/responsibility of field installations, including direct labor, materials, and expenses
  • Represent Marmic in field site meetings
  • Maintain the necessary equipment and material to effectively perform work with no lost time to fully understand, follow, and communicate contractual scope
  • Identify out of scope work
  • Communicate potential scope changes to PM/sales
  • Effectively deliver scope to technicians
  • Effectively deliver scope to subcontractors
  • Documentation and communication
  • On time completion and storing of daily needs logs
  • Execute close‑out documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain weekly updated redline drawings
  • Maintain team environment with positive communication to field technicians to ensure our commitment to safety, integrity, commitment, growth, and professionalism
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; be familiar with installation techniques of electrical and mechanical portions of project
  • Have the ability to travel, potential for extended periods of time
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of construction experience (Fire Sprinkler)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience leading and organizing teams for project‑based work
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to operations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  • Technical writing ability to effectively communicate to clients, managers and technicians
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk and work on a computer
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
