We are seeking qualified candidates from Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. This position is open to all qualified applicants who meet the required skill set, education requirements, and experience.

On-site in Newark, Delaware.

Under close supervision, perform manual work including handling and preparing distribution/transmission line materials, tools, and equipment.

• Operate vehicle and material handling equipment.
• Assist in excavation and placement of de-energized aerial and underground lines and equipment, and installation of poles and towers.
• Climbing as required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid jurisdictional driver's license.
• Licensed CDL (Class
  
  A) and medical card within six months if 21+ (interstate) or 19-20 (intrastate).
• Pass qualification tests, including an outdoor pre‑qualification exercise.
• Pass criminal history records check for felony convictions.
• Pass medical screening including drug test.
• Compliance with FMCSA regulations (age 18+, physical certification, substance abuse testing).
• Willingness to participate in Transmission and Distribution training programs and rotating shift work, including holidays, weekends, overtime, emergencies, and standby.
• Willingness to work in diverse environments (all weather, extreme heights, confined spaces, dark areas, hot/foul water, mud, dust, noxious fumes, noisy, dirty) while wearing PPE and heavy equipment.
• Willingness to perform both indoor and outdoor tasks for extended periods (lifting up to 90 lbs, climbing ladders, scaffolding, poles, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pulling/pushing, standing, walking, squatting).
• Willingness to work on or around hazardous materials and energized electrical equipment.
• Willingness to operate aerial lifts and travel to various company locations.

• Experience climbing poles.
• Experience operating aerial lifts.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, hydraulic presses, and cutters.
• Experience working with equipment and materials in electric distribution system construction.

• Hourly rate: $31.96 /Hr (based on skills, experience, or collective bargaining agreement).
• Annual bonus: 4% (for eligible positions).
