Full‑time Fire Alarm Installation Foreman at Sobieski Life Safety, Inc. ADAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIRE ALARM INSTALLATION FOREMAN
The successful Fire Alarm Installation Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation and completion of commercial fire alarm systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all applicable codes. This role includes hands‑on installation, coordination with project management, supervision of field personnel, and collaboration with inspectors and clients.
Qualifications For a Fire Alarm Installation Foreman- High school diploma or GED minimum
- Graduation from a vocational school or completion of an electrical/fire alarm apprenticeship program preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in construction specific tasks
- Two (2) years of leadership experience
- NICET certification a plus
- Working knowledge of Delaware State Fire Prevention Regulations (NFPA), the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and other applicable codes and safety requirements
- Experience with Honeywell Notifier systems is highly desirable; experience with Honeywell Silent Knight, Honeywell Fire‑Lite, and Potter systems is a plus
- Broad experience across all phases of fire alarm system installation, including rough‑in, panel wiring, device layout, and final device installation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen with a valid driver’s license and good driving record
This full‑time fire protection position typically works 8.5‑hour shifts on Monday—Friday, but hours may vary based on business needs.
