Software Developer / Java Developer

Contract position, 12+ months, located in Newark, Delaware. The team is looking for a mid-level Java full‑stack developer with 6-8 years of experience, preferably in the financial industry.

The developer will work closely with business and technology partners to deliver solutions. Candidates must possess advanced problem‑solving skills, willingness to learn and the ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written or presentation formats.

• Java / J2EE
• Object‑oriented design and programming
• Spring (batch, integration, boot is a plus)
• ORM/Persistence framework: iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, JPA, Kafka
• SOA, REST/SOAP web services, microservices (CXF, JAXWS/JAXRS), JSON, XML
• Source control:
  Bitbucket, Subversion (SVN), Perforce, or similar
• Maven, TDD, CI, JUnit, Mockito
• IDE:
  Eclipse, RAD, or other
• RDMS and SQL:
  Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server
• Red Hat Open Shift
• Messaging:
  Kafka, MQ
• Agile/iterative development & full SDLC

Pay Range
: $60–$65 per hour (subject to education, experience, location, job duties, certifications, etc.)
