Overview
University of Delaware Men’s Tennis Program is seeking a Volunteer Assistant Coach to help foster a positive environment for our student-athletes, supporting their athletic development, personal growth, and preparation for life beyond college.
Responsibilities- Assist in training, practice planning, and player evaluation
- Coach at some/most practices, and home competitions; lead practices on campus when head coach is away.
- Support game-day operations, film review, and recruit campus visits
- Contribute to program communications and engagement through social media platforms
- Perform additional duties as assigned, in compliance with NCAA, C-USA, and University regulations
- Collegiate or professional playing experience
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in college coaching
- Available to be on campus no later than mid January 2026
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is the governing body of college tennis, overseeing men’s and women’s varsity tennis at all levels – NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and Junior/Community College.
