The Inventory Associate will support Acker Storage LLC’s warehouse operations. The position will sort, load and unload products and perform other warehouse activities.
Duties And Responsibilities- Inspect product for defects and damages.
- Organize, barcode, and box items for sale.
- Check, verify and fill orders.
- Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
- Assist with periodic physical inventory audits.
- Operate forklift truck when necessary.
- Abide by all company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift operator certification a plus.
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, stand, sit and reach.
- Stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to regularly lift and move 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Navigate a warehouse and reach items both high and low.
- Temperature controlled warehouse environment.
- Working hours are typically from 8am to 4:30pm with a half hour lunch.
- Must be available to work overtime, including Saturdays when requested.
