RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Part-Time/Hybrid Intensivist to join the Critical Care Service Line at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) in Newark, New Jersey. This Nocturnist position is based in NBIMC's 24-bed inpatient adult medical and surgical ICU within a multidisciplinary, closed-model ICU. NBIMC is a 653-bed qua ternary care regional teaching hospital offering robust Cardiac Care, the state's only certified Lung Transplant program, and one of the nation's top 15 heart transplant centers.

The role provides opportunities for career growth within a growing Critical Care Service Line at RWJBarnabas Health and is conveniently located in Essex County with easy access to New York City and Jersey Shore amenities.

• Care provided in an exclusively inpatient setting (24-bed adult medical and surgical ICU), multidisciplinary, collaborative/closed model ICU
• Management of all hospital emergencies, including rapid response teams (RRTs), codes, and procedures
• Focus on quality, safety and evidence-based medicine
• Teaching fellows, residents, students, nursing and other ICU staff

• BC/BE in Critical Care Medicine
• Well-versed in critical care procedures
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• A team player comfortable working in collaborative efforts with other physicians
• Ideal candidates will be eager to join a multidisciplinary team, and be comfortable working in a teaching and collaborative setting

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired is $150,000 to $230,000 per year. The compensation offered will depend on factors including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
