RWJBarnabas Health , the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey , is seeking a board-certified / eligible board-certified / eligible Intensivist to join a team as a part-time dedicated Nocturnist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC).

This 653-bed qua ternary care regional care teaching hospital offers a wide array of comprehensive services, including robust Cardiac Care. It features the only certified Lung Transplant program in the state and is one of the nations top 15 heart transplant centers!

• Care provided in an exclusively inpatient setting (24-bed adult medical and surgical ICU), multidisciplinary, collaborative / closed model ICU
• Management of all hospital emergencies, including RRTs, codes, and procedures
• Focuses on quality, safety and evidence-based medicine
• Teaching fellows, residents, students, nursing and other ICU staff

• BC / BE in Critical Care Medicine
• Well-versed in critical care procedures
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• A team player comfortable working in collaborative efforts with other physicians
• Ideal candidates will be eager to join a multidisciplinary team, and be comfortable working in a teaching and collaborative setting

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $150,000 to $230,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidates educational background, skills, and professional experience.
