Summary:
The Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, seeks two qualified General Anesthesiologist for full‑time positions as Assistant Professor, Non‑Tenure Track. The effective day of the appointments is February 1, 2026. Candidates on H1B or equivalent visa are welcome to apply. Duties include on‑site anesthesia services to adult patients at University Hospital; intraoperative and didactic teaching of residents; participation in Faculty Development programs;
working collaboratively with the members of the surgical services both clinically and administratively; contributing to research that forwards the discipline academically and clinically.
- Qualified applicants must:
- Have a medical doctorate or equivalent
- Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
- Be a BC/BE Anesthesiologist

Description:
The selected candidate is expected to participate fully in all activities of the Department of Anesthesiology, to the satisfaction of the Department Chair. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
