Role: Controls Engineer
Location: Newark, NJ

Key Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley systems (RsLogix 500/5000, HMIs, drives)
• Evaluate equipment and provide recommendations for improvements and safety enhancements
• Train and support plant personnel at all operational levels
• Maintain complete understanding of plant automation systems
• Modify programs and troubleshoot complex control systems
• Maintain logs, documentation, and system records

Candidate Requirements

• Formal training in Allen Bradley systems, drives, and operator interfaces (required)
• Manufacturing experience preferred (food/baking industry a plus)

Essential Skills

• Extensive Allen Bradley programming experience (critical requirement)
• 480‑volt electrical control circuits and networking (Ethernet)
• Power Flex drives, Panel View HMI, Ultra Ware Servo systems
• System evaluation and continuous improvement mindset
• Training and mentoring capabilities
