In the role of Sr. Project Controls Specialist, we'll count on you to:

• Establish WBS and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the project
• Develop and monitor project metrics, including budget, schedule and quality activities
• Coordinate with necessary team members
• Participate in project coordination meetings
• Conduct project site visits if applicable
• Conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews
• Develop staffing cost estimates
• Manage and enforce adherence to project controls practices and procedures, including change management and records management
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators and report to project and program staff
• Review project change documentation and ensure compliance with change procedures and contract specifications
• Establish project schedules, forecast and cost controls procedures
• Serve as the central point of contact for project documentation and reporting, including RFI’s, submittals, transmittals, and internal and external correspondence
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely submission of deliverables
• Work with Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business Leadership for periodic project reviews
• Perform other duties as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports
• Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI‑SP, CST
• Ability to interpret design and construction schedules
• Construction schedule fundamentals (including CPM), progressively complex scheduling techniques and scheduling software including Primavera
• Functional computer usage including familiarity with Quick Base, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Construction Management Software
• Oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal and leadership skills
• Coordination and prioritization of multiple long and short‑term tasks
• Organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Preference is given to local candidates
