For over 80 years, Parsons Corporation has been a leader in the integrated design and delivery of critical infrastructure. We are currently seeking experienced Senior Engineers to join our Parsons New Jersey team. With both conventional and design‑build projects, we are looking for strong leaders who can manage projects and mentor a team of engineers and designers.

We’re looking to grow our NJ presence to execute these critical, once‑in‑a‑lifetime projects and you might just be a fit. We are looking for the following Civil Engineering positions for highway geometric design, utilities engineering, MPT design and all aspects of civil/highway work. Positions are hybrid with 2‑3 days per week in‑person at our Newark, NJ office.

Position Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you will support some of the region’s largest ongoing and upcoming transportation projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform highway, interchange, and street design, including geometric design, 3D modeling, drainage design, work zone traffic control, and construction staging.
  • Develop construction specifications and material quantity calculations.
  • Utilize engineering software and collaborate with CAD designers, other engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Lead projects and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or a related field).
  • Typically 8+ years of related work experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration may be required.

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $
