ICB Regulatory Compliance Inspector

DescriptionThe Regulatory Compliance Inspector supports all ICB Unit Supervisors in an investigative capacity when specific compliance issues arise that require a higher degree of institutional knowledge to resolve.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Civil, Environmental, and/or Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience within PVSC’s Industrial Pretreatment Program, with comprehensive knowledge of regulations concerning discharges to PVSC treatment works.
- Skills & Capabilities:
- Read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently for job duties.
- Conduct water consumption/discharge studies and assess accuracy of flow meters at entities throughout the district.
- Perform dye tests at industrial facilities and/or within locally‑owned sewer systems of municipal partners.
- Solid working knowledge of PVSC’s Geographic Information System (GIS) maps and collection system.
- Proficient in Industrial & FOG inspection work and strong knowledge of PVSC’s Industrial Pretreatment Program and User Charge obligations.
- Understand Connections Unit regulations regarding calculation of gallons discharged into the PVSC system.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation; include sitting, standing, walking, stooping, climbing ladders, kneeling, lifting up to 25 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, using a keyboard, and tools.
- Qualify for entry into confined spaces while wearing proper PPE (canister masks, dust masks, SCBA, etc.) in compliance with PVSC’s Personal Protective Equipment policies.
Expected base pay range: $104,212 to $130,250. Salary may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, and training.

Employment involves working indoors and outdoors in conditions associated with a wastewater treatment plant and sewer collection system.
