Responsibilities
  • GAAP financial reporting and analysis of taxes
  • Partnering with Business Units to implement and design tax planning strategies and transactions
  • Preparation and review of Federal, International, State and Local Tax Compliance
  • Recommendations of improvements to compliance processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related business disciplines
  • Corporate Tax Experience (6-7 years), financial services sector is preferred, international expertise a plus
  • Knowledge of corporate tax topics
  • Strong GAAP accounting for taxes: ASC-740/FAS 109/FIN

  • Understanding of financial service companies including Investment and Asset Management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational/analytical skills
  • Proven leadership track record
  • Solid computer skills – proficient in standard Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power point)
  • Assertive, creative and proactive
  • Strong work ethic and ability to partner in a team‑oriented environment
  • Organized and flexible – ability to manage multiple projects/assignments while meeting deadlines
It’d be a plus if you had
  • CPA and/or Master’s degree in tax or accounting
  • Corp Tax Compliance software skills
Other comments
  • Overtime will be required, especially during peak periods
  • This is a hybrid position; associate will be required to come into the office 3 days per week

Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
