The position requires onsite work in the Newark, NJ office. Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are required to be onsite according to the schedule set by your management. The Bank believes in flexibility to balance the demands of work and life while also recognizing the necessity of connecting and collaborating with our colleagues in person.

Responsibilities
  • Make sound decisions and demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently across multiple levels of the organization and externally.
  • Administer day‑to‑day operations, communications, and compliance of the Federal Reserve’s qualified and non‑qualified retirement plans, non‑qualified deferred compensation plan, and other executive programs.
  • Assist the broader Administration team with data analysis.
  • Interact with plan participants, including active employees, retirees of the Federal Reserve Banks, the Board of Governors, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and service performance for outsourced administrators and service providers of health and welfare benefits plans.
  • Research and respond to inquiries from vendors, stakeholders, plan participants and Federal Reserve System partners.
  • Perform data analysis and process review to support the broader Administration and Benefits team to improve employee engagement, administration efficiency, mitigate risk, and support compliance.
  • Develop presentations and training sessions for Reserve Bank partners.
  • Outline key points of nuanced benefits communications for the dedicated communications team.
  • Lead and support processes and projects with measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; preferred.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and provide support to stakeholders.
Education & Experience

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of equivalent experience preferred.

Experience:

Five or more years of experience required or equivalent.
