Senior Associate, Real Assets

Principal investment professional support asset manager selection, due diligence and monitoring of fund investments in real estate and infrastructure for Prudential Financial.

Job Classification – Investment Management – Investments.

Prudential Select Strategies LLC (PSS) is a registered investment adviser and a unit of the Global Chief Investment Office, managing over $15.0 billion in alternative investments. The role involves supporting the Real Assets team across value-add, opportunistic, core-plus and core real-estate investments and infrastructure on behalf of the insurance general accounts.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid – requires on-site presence as directed.

What You Can Expect
  • Support portfolio managers in sourcing, underwriting and due diligence for primary fund investments.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring, analysis and reporting of investments and the aggregate portfolio.
  • Collaborate with operations, accounting, tax and legal departments during due diligence and execution.
  • Conduct market, industry and strategy research and support analytical projects.
  • Work with the Real Assets portfolio manager to optimize the investment portfolio.
What You'll Need
  • 6+ years of investment experience in real estate or private equity.
  • Experience in asset manager selection and due diligence.
  • Experience training and developing talent (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • MBA or equivalent degree and/or CFA (preferred).

Salary range – $160,000 to $195,000 (dependent on location, experience, and skills). Additional compensation may be available through discretionary annual incentive programs.
