Hiring Hourly and Live-in Caregiver (HHA) Drivers

Homewatch Care Givers of South Orange is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to join our family. Hourly, Days, Overnights, Weekend, and Live-In positions available for immediate start.

$16.00/hr - $19.00/hr

• Pay Day Advances (coming soon)
• $300 Sign-On Bonus
• Local Cases Only
• $5.00 Gas Bonus per shift for Hourly Caregivers
• $2.00 added to hourly rate for Weekend Shifts
• Increased Mileage Reimbursement to $1.00 (NJ law recommends a minimum of $0.62)

• Build meaningful relationships with clients.
• Provide companionship in a warm, welcoming, encouraging tone.
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, toileting, dressing), meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Ensure safety and supervision of the client.
• For Drivers: be willing to drive and accompany clients to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, and errands.

• MUST have an active New Jersey HHA certification.
• MUST be fully vaccinated (and boosted if eligible) against COVID-19.
• Two (2) forms of r's license, social security card, etc.
• Step 1 PPD (within 12 months), Quanti
  
  FERON (within 12 months) or Chest X-ray.
• MUST be able to pass a criminal background check.
• For Drivers: valid driver's license, your own reliable automobile, proof of registration & auto insurance.
• Must be reliable, compassionate, flexible, and a team player.
• 1+ year of prior experience as a caregiver, preferred but not required.
