The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Responsible for scheduling appointments.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Computer skills
  • Good organizational and communication skills required

Preferred:

  • Three to five years office experience preferred,
  • Knowledge of medical/dental terminology a plus but not essential
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Shift- 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Monday-Friday
  • Full Time/Day
Essential Functions:
  • Answers the telephone courteously and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates the ability to enter Patient’s demographic; insurance information; computer systems () accurately & timely
  • Demonstrates the ability to verify Patient’s Insurance Benefits, advises patient to obtain appropriate Insurance referrals
  • Demonstrates and maintains the current knowledge of Insurance Companies, State & Federal Healthcare regulations and requirements
  • Review all work for accuracy and compliance with Hospital, State and/or Federal regulations. Maintains 99% or more accuracy rate
  • Informs manager of problems, which may need immediate attention.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
