We are seeking an experienced Desktop Engineer (3rd Shift) to join Client's 24x7 IT Support team. This position is responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware/software systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overnight technical support via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and resolve end-user incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN.
- Utilize ticketing system to log and manage service requests.
- Manage Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange configurations.
- Support and troubleshoot network printers and MDM platforms (Airwatch preferred).
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation.
- Coordinate with IT teams and vendors on system maintenance and repair.
- Participate in on‑call rotations covering one weekend shift and holidays when required.
- Follow ITIL processes, including Incident, Request, and Change management.
- Open outage bridges and escalate major incidents when needed.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong technical troubleshooting and customer service background.
- Ability to work independently on the 3rd shift with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN, and other common networking concepts.
Experience with user calls utilizing an IVR system, preferably Avaya.
Basic understanding of ITIL foundation processes.
Major incident management experience, i.e., opening outage bridges.
