- Perform administrative and support activities across a multi-environment Tableau infrastructure including security administration, release management, troubleshooting and general systems maintenance.
- Gather requirements, design solutions, develop code/reports, test and deploy code for Tableau solutions.
- Act as an expert in Data Interoperability, Analytics and BI.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for production support issue resolution.
- Collaborate with end users, stakeholders and support partners to identify needs and business models. Work with vendor product management to determine, validate and implement a long-term strategy for Tableau.
- Extensive experience with the entire lifecycle (cradle to grave) of Tableau, with hands-on, pragmatic working knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with data architecture and data analysis skill sets; primary experience with Tableau; preferable secondary experience in OBIEE, Spotfire, Micro Strategy, Cognos, Actuate, SAS, SSRS, Informatica; expertise in Data Interoperability and Analytics.
- Excellent requirements gathering skills; considerable BI development experience/background.
- Comprehensive understanding of ITIL Service Management disciplines and practical experience applying them; problem solving/troubleshooting experience to assist production support in issue resolution.
- Proven ability to independently champion business intelligence principles with business owners, application owners, data analysts and DBAs.
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) accreditation.
- Experience supporting financial applications.
- Experience with financial services data.
