** We are seeing a
** Business Data Architect
** to join our stellar team within the Finance Digital Transformation organization. This role will provide data architecture and data delivery services to our finance and business partners. Positioned in Finance Product organization, this role works closely with the Broadridge Finance community, other Product Owners, Business Units, Data Governance and Technology teams to execute activities within the digital transformation strategy. This professional will design, architect and implement business data models that support our organization's data-driven initiatives as we look to execute an enterprise Data Strategy.

This role will be key to the success of our Digital transformation by supporting project management activities and managing risks throughout the program.

** We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed.  This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be coming into the Newark office 2 days a week and given the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.

* Key Responsibilities:

** The Business Data architect is responsible for developing and maintaining complex data models for business use cases and reporting purposes. Work closely with our business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models. Deliver business data products and ensure finance business priorities are achieved. Also responsible for working with data engineering team to build data products, integrations to enable trusted reporting, self-service analytics, and business insights.  

Also responsible for providing support for data-platform-as-a-product and by managing data operations for the data platform ensuring the data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Maintain documentation and metadata of our data models.  Responsibilities will include assisting project/program managers on larger more complex projects.  
* Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Expert in data architecture and in creating complex data models
* Understand business products and create data solutions for reporting and analytical use cases
* Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs across Finance
* Actively participate in driving strategy on data platform and data products
* Assess data flows, duplication, risks, and gaps, then develop a target-state roadmap.
* Facilitating project meetings and presentations to a diverse audience
* Document and communicate data model designs and standards to ensure understanding and compliance across the organization
* Translate requirements of large data initiatives into technical designs
* Support implementation of data solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs and carrying out necessary processes and practices
* Identify and resolve performance issues to optimize database performance and enhance overall system functionality
