As an Professional Services Consultant, you'll play a critical role in enabling customers to securely integrate and automate their cloud environments, leading the adoption of the Cortex XSIAM platform. You will serve as a trusted consultant, guiding complex deployments, developing strategic automation workflows, and driving continuous improvement through real-time support.

• Build and fine-tune correlation and detection rules to identify emerging threats across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
• Monitor and tune log source performance, ingestion rates, and detection logic to enhance system efficiency.
• Deploy and manage content packs, custom layouts, and automated dashboards tailored to customer security use cases.
• Serve as a trusted SME on Cortex XSIAM, SIEM log architecture, correlation logic, and SOAR automation best practices.
• Conduct technical workshops and produce technical design documentation to enable long-term customer autonomy.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience deploying, integrating, and managing enterprise SIEM solutions like Splunk, IBM QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
• ~ Proven experience building playbooks, configuring correlation rules, and managing content and integrations within the Cortex ecosystem.
• ~ Proficiency in Python for security tool integration and automation scripting, combined with strong Regex capabilities for log parsing.
• ~ Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON data structures, and third-party security integrations.
• ~ Proactive, consultative approach to understanding customer challenges and translating them into actionable engineering requirements.
• ~ Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%) for on-site customer meetings, strategic workshops, and technical kickoffs.

Palo Alto Networks credentials (e.g., For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
