Job Description

Eric M. Bernstein Associates, LLC is a growing boutique law firm seeking one (1) or two (2) experienced local/county government attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services to municipal and county departments, officials, boards and agencies throughout the State of New Jersey.

The successful candidate(s) will handle a broad range of matters including defense litigation, workers’ compensation, labor and employment, land use and zoning and general government law. We seek an individual or individuals with at least ten (10) years of experience in our growing practice.

Responsibilities:
The attorney(s) must be enthusiastic and motivated, be able to attend night meetings and have demonstrated experience in all areas of practice listed above. Prior representation of defendants in Federal and State court (including workers’ compensation) is key. The attorney(s) should also be able to manage files on their own, as well as working as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Must be admitted to practice in New Jersey and in good standing. Must have excellent research, drafting and writing abilities and be able to communicate well verbally.
